Hello my (sometimes) favorite 5/6 Graders. I know you are all very saddened I am not here today. But don't worry: I WILL BE HERE TOMORROW! :)

This part is superrrrrrr important. Please read this. PLEASE: WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR QUIZ ON NEWSELA, YOU WILL NOTTTTT SUBMIT IT ON THE IPAD. THIS MESSES IT UP FOR THE OTHER CLASSES. PLEASE PLEASE POR FAVOR DO NOT SUBMIT THE ANSWERS ON THE IPADS! Instead write the answers on separate sheet. PLEASE! I am very nervous someone will submit on iPad :(


Ok now time for your assignment. 

Both grades do same assignment 

1. Use an iPad and go to newsela.com and sign in (remember BOTH username and password= rivera101.blogspot.com
2. Click on binder and the article "Dancing gives 11 year old..."
3. Make sure the Lexile level is 810 FOR EVERYONE (or close to it)
4. Read. Write main idea of the article on separate sheet. Answer 4 questions.
5. DO NOT SUBMIT THE QUIZ ON THE SITE!
6. Whatever time is left over is yours. 
7. Be awesome and give work to teacher.
